Function and Capabilities
In the laboratory, evaluation of the foods in terms of health and nutrition, determination of nutritional claim of the products scientifically and safely, management of food composition data, national and international R&D studies (quality change monitoring, shelf life studies, authentication studies, new product development, process enhancement) especially on sugary products, fruit based products and bee products (honey, royal jelly) are performed. Besides, product label data control and quality control studies for food industry are carried on.

7 Researchers and 5 technicians working in the laboratory specialized in food composition analysis, food labelling analysis, nutrition, clinical researches, new product development, bee products, fruit-vegetable processing technologies and sugary products technologies.
